+ Automatic External Defibrillator

This course is for clinical or non clinical staff working for the NHS or a private Health Care Organisation, to receive updates on the latest guidelines from the British Resuscitation Council and prove competent in BLS and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).

On completion of training in the use of an AED the candidate should be able to demonstrate the sequence of actions and skills required to use an AED during the simulated resuscitation of an adult victim who has suffered a cardiac arrest. This will be assessed during or at the end of the training using a simulated incident and a resuscitation training manikin.

Course Requirements
Candidates must be able to demonstrate practical CPR skills and meet the learning objectives set out by the British Resuscitation Guidelines to receive a certificate of competence.

Course Costs
Course Costs £175 per course – maximum of 12

Certification
All candidates will receive a certificate of competence or attendance from the Instructor / Assessor which is valid for 1 year.
