First Aid Appointed Person

This course is for persons wishing to learn First Aid which qualifies them to act as the Appointed Person in the workplace, under the terms of the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981

The course is also suitable for those wishing to attend a general First Aid course or learn Emergency First Aid (EFAW)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

This refresher course is for clinical or non clinical staff working for the NHS or private Health Care Organisations to receive updates on the latest guidelines from the British Resuscitation Council and prove competent in BLS.

This course can also be used for qualified First Aid at Work personnel or Responders, as a skills refresher between First Aid at Work or Appointed Person revalidation courses.

Basic Life Support + Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)

This course is for clinical or non clinical staff working for the NHS or a private Health Care Organisation, to receive updates on the latest guidelines from the British Resuscitation Council and prove competent in BLS and AED.

Manual Handling

This course should be undertaken by all staff, where a risk of injury may occur in the workplace, this may include, pushing, pulling, carrying or lifting, under the terms of:

Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999

The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992

This course in particular can be adapted to meet the needs of the individual or the task.

Fire Safety Awareness

This course is aimed at all staff (particularly new employees) in all workplaces, to help them identify and reduce the risks from fire in the workplace and conforms to the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.
